We’ve Got the Blues…for a Great Cause!

Pittsburgh Blues Festival

Who’s ready for some good blues music, food and fun? We can’t wait! This will be our first time taking part in the Pittsburgh Blues Festival and we are looking forward to spreading the word about Greyhound Express, while enjoying the music and the people. A three-day event, this festival is “Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s largest annual event.”

“The Pittsburgh Blues Festival gives the community an opportunity to have a great time enjoying great music while helping feed our friends and neighbors,” said Food Bank CEO Lisa A. Scales. “Every dollar contributed to the Food Bank by those attending the Festival enables us to provide five meals. So a $30 ticket translates to 150 meals for children.”

Ticket prices vary, but get this…they have FREE Friday! Bring a bag (or more), of non-perishable grocery items to donate to the Food Bank for free entry on Friday.

We will be in attendance with prizes and games. We hope to see you there, of course. For information on the Pittsburgh Blues Festival, please visit

And if you’re traveling from another city, book your travel at With extra legroom, free Wi-Fi and power outlets, you’ll be able to stretch out, plug in and get the music started early.
