Greyhound Relocates To Amtrak Station In Ann Arbor

DALLAS (Nov. 1, 2016) – Greyhound, the largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, today announced it has relocated its Ann Arbor, Mich. operations to the Amtrak station in the city. The relocation comes just before the holidays and offers customers seamless connectivity and access to both the Amtrak and Greyhound networks across the country.

Greyhound customers can now conveniently board at 325 Depot St., which is less than one mile from the former Greyhound station located at 115 E. William St. The new location offers local transit options and is adjacent to the University of Michigan, allowing students and other customers to easily and conveniently travel to their destinations.

“With the holidays just around the corner, our new shared location with Amtrak will make traveling even easier and hassle-free as customers make plans to visit family and friends,” said Andy Kaplinsky, chief commercial officer, Greyhound Lines, Inc. “Our new location offers customers a comfortable and secure environment out of the elements, as well as more travel options, which allows us to continue our commitment of providing an exceptional customer experience.”

From this new location, Greyhound offers eight daily schedules to destinations such as Detroit, Chicago and Toronto, as well as connections to any of Greyhound’s 3,800 destinations. Greyhound Package Express is available for customers to ship packages as well, which will be convenient for the holidays. Also, customers will enjoy traveling on modern buses with free onboard Wi-Fi, power outlets, extra legroom and leather seats. Both Greyhound and Amtrak customers will benefit from the transportation carriers sharing a location, as it expands their travel options and provides the best of both worlds under one roof.

“Across the country, Amtrak, Greyhound and other carriers can serve all our customers better when we share stations and depots,” said Adam Krom, Amtrak director of connectivity. “All our customers can move from mode-to-mode more easily, we can build more connections and we can share the cost of facilities by working together.”

Greyhound customers can purchase tickets on, on the Greyhound mobile app, by calling 1-800-231-2222 or at the new local station.
