Happy Veterans Day!

Veterans Day 2013

Ninety-five years ago, on the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour, World War I officially ended, and Nov. 11 was proclaimed as the first commemoration for veterans. It started out as a day observed with public meetings and a delayed start to the work day, beginning at 11 a.m. Now we have parades, festivals, public ceremonies and some restaurants offering free meals to veterans on this day.

Greyhound would like to salute everyone who has selflessly and courageously served in the military, both past and present. We appreciate all the sacrifices that military veterans have made and recognize the families who graciously share their loved ones with the world while they work to keep our country free.

Since youve done so much for us, we want to do something for you. If youre a veteran or a family member traveling this holiday season, we want to help get you to your destination in a safe, reliable and affordable manner, which is why we offer our military customers and their families the Veterans Advantage Program. This holiday season, save big with this program and leave the driving to us.

Happy Veterans Day!
