Three great countries, all in one network.

At Greyhound, we’ve had a lot of firsts.

In 1914, we launched service becoming the first intercity bus line in the U.S. In 1938, we introduced air conditioning into our Super Coaches before it was the norm in most automobiles, and the first coach to cross the U.S. from California to New York was even one of our buses! After more than a century in the business, we’re still committed to innovation and moving our industry forward.

Today we’ve reach another historical first to add to our list – Greyhound is now the first U.S.-based intercity bus company to operate domestic service within Mexico!

“Service in Mexico has long been an aspiration of Greyhound, making the launch an especially meaningful event,” said Dave Leach, CEO of Greyhound. “As an iconic American brand that has more than 100 years of experience providing the gold standard of bus travel to our customers, we’re looking forward to bringing our high-quality service, safety and convenience to Mexico.”

Beginning today, we are thrilled to launch service to Monterrey and Nuevo Laredo and connect these customers to our existing network of more than 3,800 locations across North America. They’ll enjoy riding our new coaches with modern amenities including free on-board Wi-Fi, power outlets in every seat, leather seats, three-point seatbelts, extra legroom, guaranteed seating, an on-board restroom and footrests.

With 23 departures per day, we’re offering 13 daily schedules between Monterrey and Nuevo Laredo, and 10 daily schedules connecting Monterrey to several Texas cities. The route includes Monterrey – Nuevo Laredo – Laredo – San Antonio – Austin – Dallas.

On top of our usual low fares, we’re also offering promotional fares starting at just $1 or 25 pesos on a set number of seats per schedule for the first two weeks of service! These fares are only available at so be sure to snag yours before they’re gone.

These new schedules aren’t the only news – we’ve also built two state-of-the-art, terminals in our newest destinations so our customers can relax in a clean, open and secure environment. Both new terminals will have a limited number of private parking spaces making it easier for our customers to be picked up or dropped off at the terminals. We’re also offering long-term paid parking for customers who choose to leave their car at the terminal before hopping on a bus.

Wondering where you will find us? The Monterrey terminal is located at Carretera Colombia #031, Colonia Residencial Puerta del Norte. The terminal is right next to the Senvero Station at the end of the northern Metro line. The Nuevo Laredo terminal is located at Cesar Lopez de Lara #3910, Colonial Anáhuac.

With this expansion into Mexico, only Greyhound customers can go from Monterrey to the Yukon Territory in Canada – and just about everywhere in between.
