One-on-One with Harlem Globetrotters

Harlem Globetrotters

Greetings from North Carolina! It’s T-Time again. Today after our game in Greensboro, N.C., I had a conversation with teammates, Slick and Tiny.

Slick played college basketball in the Big East, where he suited up and played for St. John’s University. As a freshman, he broke the record for the most 3-pointers made in a single season there. It’s no wonder why his name is Slick with a shot like that!

Then, there is Tiny, who is by no means tiny. However, whoever stands next to him is certain to feel tiny as he stands at 7’8”. He is currently in the Guinness World Record Book for being the tallest professional basketball player right now.

So I wanted to know, and I’m sure you do too, if Slick and Tiny could play against anyone in the world one-on-one (past or present) who would it be?

  • Slick’s choice: Michael Jordan. Slick said he would love to see how he measures up to the greatest player ever to play the game of basketball.
  • Tiny’s choice: Tim Duncan. Tiny chose Tim because he admires his fundamental skills. He believes Tim is the total package at the power forward position and would love to play Duncan to see how he would maneuver around his 7’8″ frame.

So we’ve heard from a couple of the Harlem Globetrotters. Who would you want to play against one-on-one?
