Jammin’ on the Road!

Head Phones

There’s the perfect song for pretty much everything. From the sad song after a break up or that song to get you and your friends ready for a night out on the town, music can shift a mood.

Well, the same goes for the road. Music brings on a rhythm while traveling, and I think, makes that trip go even faster. One of my colleagues said that it also depends where you’re going. He said when he went to New York, he had Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” on repeat. But when he visited Austin, his music choice was something with more of an indie and eclectic feel.

So with all this being said, I decided to ask some folks around the office, what they listened to when they hit the road. The answers were so diverse.

Best of Me, by Anthony Hamilton

Anna Sun, by Walk the Moon

Stronger, by Kelly Clarkson

Soldier of Love, by Sade

Hell on Heels, by Pistol Annies

Ramblin’ Man, by the Allman Brothers

America, by Simon and Garfunkel

Love on Top, by Beyoncé

Impossible Germany, by Wilco

Gone, Gone, Gone, by Alison Krauss and Robert Plant

Any of the songs on the list one of your personal favorites? If not, leave us a comment letting us know your favorite. Let’s make a rockin’ travel playlist!
