Public transportation is the way to go. Over the years, Dallas has become more and more public transportation friendly. We still have a long way to go til we are able to get everywhere without a car but we’re heading in the right direction. When Greyhound contacted me about their new Greyhound Express service. I had never ridden a bus long distance before.

I was intrigued.

What if I’m sitting next to someone that I don’t want to? Is it safe? Will it take all day long just to get somewhere close? What will I do while I’m on the bus? What if my phone dies and I can’t contact anyone? Needless to say, the list goes on and on.

I was weary. This was before I did any research. I headed over to the Greyhound Express site and the first thing I noticed was the new and improved buses.  Then I kept scrolling and the next thing I noticed was AMAZING. Reserved Seats, Free wifi, Power Outlets and Extra legroom was all offered on the Greyhound Express. Oh, and some fares start at $1.

Am I reading this correctly? I can take the Greyhound, and play on my computer the whole time while charging my phone and having plenty of room for my legs. This sounded too good to be true. It was one of those, I must see it to believe it type moments.

I booked my trip and was ready to go…
