“Fun at Work” Day
Let’s face it, sometimes you need to take a break at work and have a little fun. Well, lo and behold, January 28 was Fun at Work Day (this is a real day). I had no clue until our PR agency told us about it. Needless to say, I was pumped! Therefore, it was time to start thinking about a way to incorporate intentional fun into our work day. I say intentional, because we already have a great time at work, but this time, it had to be on purpose. *light bulb goes off* Have a scavenger hunt.
So there it was 11:30 a.m., and we were about to embark on the hunt. Not too many rules – just take a photo of the list item and turn the answer sheet in by 4:30 p.m. Easy, right? Well, not so easy. Fun at Work Day just so happened to be the same day the Harlem Globetrotters were stopping by the Greyhound office to show and teach us some tricks (check out the photos). Double fun if you ask me.
The winner of the scavenger hunt was Mark and he was overwhelmed with excitement. Who wouldn’t be? It’s a Target gift card!
So all in all, the scavenger hunt was fun, but we’re going to have to plan ahead next time, so everyone can participate as much as they want to. It’s a busy day when you’re setting up for basketball players AND trying to complete a hunt for 13 things. Whew.
Did you know there was a Fun at Work Day? If so, how did you incorporate your fun?
